"Hey! My name is Typographical or, and I do things for the sake of doing em.
Not to say that moneyless art is a deceased endeavor, and I do want to make money from this at some point
but the goal was never make this my full-time job.
Honestly, the goal was never to make this a job at all.
You may know me as the guy who made "Butterfly Effect"! My Minecraft lore series project that primarily includes my ocs,
"Theo Lago" and "Noe Antiqua".
Sometimes, making art sounds selfish, but this time I'm one hundred percent positive that this is mine.
Divinity all contained in my hands."
I've been meaning to watch this movie, "La La Land" for a very long long time now and use it for inspiration for.. some.. things. :eye:
But, for some reason I kept putting off this movie...
TILL TODAY!!!!!!!!
So, today I got comfortable, got cold water, snuggled my IKEA shark, and watched!!
The cinematography and composition is insanely pretty, the colour theory is so dissectable, OST is fantastical, yada yada, things that have been said before online.
Without spoiling a lot, there's kindof like... two main messages that I could take from the film, and it's that,
"On a personal level, I learned to have loved without regret of loving. I learned that the loveliest love is restraint, and letting go when you need to let go.
The loveliest love is when to know to outstretch yourself, when to follow yourself when you need to."
"On a grander level, I learned that simply being passionate isn't enough to live your dreams. Passion by itself is kind of... foolish?
But it's persistence that keeps things going, and moving, and churning. Think of it like paint and an artist.
Paint itself is full of dreams and desires, but it's foolish to believe that paint alone will make those dreams be reality.
But, with an artist, that paint gets new meaning."
Something about this movie is like experiencing one of those fever dreams where you live so happily in it, and wake up sad.
You can't have your cake and eat it too...
It's one of those movies where, if I could watch it for the first time, I'd take that opportunity.
It's perfectly heartbreaking, with the loveliest love of all...... Holy yearnfest...
Also, I'm kinda biased because I kinda write like La La Land, with the segmented storytelling via title cards, and the dialogue interactions,
so seeing something that I can relate with storytelling-wise makes me feel warm,
So much fun and whimsical symbolism that rewards you for being smart
Expect some colour theory symbolism in the upcoming videos!!!! 👁 Anyways.. see y'all again soon!!!!!
GUESS WHAT WEEEEE DIDDDD???
So let's just say, me and 4 of my IRL friends embarked on some meaty michelin star escapades for the very first time!!!
It all started at a 10am venture out to get some fresh yummies.
Everything kiiiinda had that "new hotel room" feel if you know what I mean, where everything is
well air-conditioned and cleaned meticulously. That sweet feeling of housekeeping is aweeesomee...
Anyways, all of us got there and it was time to cook. We cooked up asparagus, mashed potatoes, and the wellington itself
Solid 8 hours of finessing (alongside Penguinz0 and "No Signal" Backrooms OST) to manifest this tomfoolery into reality.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I realize the amount of influence the Backrooms had on this strange project.
Say hi to our glorious Beef Wellingtons (aptly named "Clark" and "Captain Clark")

Anyways mind you, not a lot of us really.. cook? T'was just a fun excuse to hangout.
But we had a gameplan going into it!!! And boy did we execute that on the perf-to-the-ectly.

Anyways BOOMMMM!!! LOOK AT THAT??? THAT'S NOT BAD FOR 5 TEENAGE NOVICES, A SILLY TUTORIAL, AND A DREAM???
Anyways we said grace or whatever people do, and began to eat. It was a wonderful taste, really.
Meaty, mushroom-y, flakiness from the puff pastry. Mashed potatoes was well seasoned. Even the burnt asparagus was yummyyy...
and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I'm right where I'm supposed to be.
I like it in here.
